Going to School and New Characters in Rune Factory 2

This is going to be my last effort today in terms of posting new information, as it is a very busy day for me, but I wanted to share this, especially as I was unable to complete the 2nd Generation sections of my Guide before Thanksgiving.

This should help answer a few questions. Here are introductions to new characters in the 2nd Generation as well as some glimpses of the School and the classes that are taught there!

All the sophisticated skills such as forging and cooking are 2nd Generation Skills in Rune Factory 2.

Of all the children, I'd say Leonel's the most interesting being Barrett and Dorothy's son of all people. Hehe. He's a cutie. They all are~

A school is a wonderful addition to the HM/RF series.

Thanks for the vid. I got to learn something new about Barrett. He seems to have lightened up in the 2nd half.

Umm. By any chance what is the guardian of the forest? and where to find it? I got to a tablet which it said to beat the "Guardian", but I don't know where to find it.

Does the child in Rune Factory 2 take after who you married, or is it set by default? I'm very, very excited to see the video of the
2nd generation. Up till now, I couldn't find any glimpse of it anywhere on the internet either.

Anon, if you go to the northernmost screen, you will meet the Apple Tree. You need to defeat it to obtain the final tablet for this area. It is a very simple Boss to defeat even in the 1st day of the 2nd Generation. Other monsters, even some that are not 'bosses' are far more difficult.

KalypsoCry, the child is set. There is a boy character and a girl character. It is not like ToT where the appearance and personality of the child depends on the parents.

I would recommend using a good magical Rod and Fireball unless your Weapons Skills are quite high. Make certain that you obtain Cure before you engage the Terror Tree in battle. It won't hurt to have three Recovery Potions in your Rucksack. One of the most important aspects to ANY battle in Rune Factory 2 is your Skill Level and your defensive equipment. Try to equip the best defensive accessories you can buy or forge. If your levels are high enough, you will sustain almost no damage in any encounter with a Monster but if your levels are not that high, defence points really make a difference.
