O.K. Island of Happiness is here now, accompanied by a wonderful Natsume Harvest Moon cat. Here's a photograph of the Harvest Moon Cat. I always have preferred cats to dogs and was thrilled when HM DS gave players a cat as well as a dog, even though the poor creature had no real function. My new Harvest Moon cat will sit beside me as I work and lend me strength and inspiration. I always loved black cats but have to admit I love cats of almost every colour.
I feel schizophrenic now. A part of me spent the past fews weeks longing for the point where I would be able to start and play my own permanent Cute game, to marry Skye and live happily ever after with him, farming, fishing and mining to my heart's content, after successfully fulfilling every goal in the game....
Of course, there is another part of me that is eager to experience Island of Happiness...
As Island of Happiness still is in pre-release stage, however, I shan't be able to post any information or screenshots of the game.

I got the black cat from Natsume as well!The same as you, I do everything with it.I play HM with it, I eat with it, I even take it to school.My friend got jealous because she didn't get one....

I do not understand why you would be sad, Natalie. As a dedicated Harvest Moon fan, you of all people should remember all the wonderful Harvest Moon games that are available right now, including Cute... a week ago, you couldn't wait for Cute!
We are too impatient in our society. If I were set on a deserted island and only had MFoMT, I could be content, although I would have to erase all memory of Skye from my psyche! Actually, it would be more truthful to state that, were I abandoned on a deserted island, I would be content if I had only Cute!
There isn't enough time in our lives to enjoy every wonderful Harvest Moon game to the fullest.
Island of Happiness is due to be released in the middle of June, I believe. Anticipation is part of the excitement... If you REALLY love Skye, you should be satisfied to share a life in Forget-Me-Not Valley with him for now.
Of course, you are a very fast player... take your time and savour each day.
I always was a very fast reader, even at your age. I read faster than any 'speed reader' although I wasn't a speed reader. I could hear all the dialogues in my head and picture the landscapes in the book... but although it didn't seem 'fast' to me, it was. I could devour a long book in an hour.
I had to teach myself to walk away from a book in order to be able to make it last longer. Having swept through the local library like a wildfire, I always was in danger of running out of books that I could enjoy.
Nowadays, I read a little, then put the book down in order to be able to make it last for days rather than an hour or two. Where Harvest Moon is concerned, I try to enjoy each day when I am playing my own game (not for a guide). Sometimes it takes me an entire day in real life to play through ONE day in any Harvest Moon game...
