Freyashawk on YouTube

I really cannot make any claim to be an expert where the internet is concerned. It was only today that I noticed I could 'embed' my YouTube 'channel' here, making it unnecessary to write a separate post each time I create a new video. I have embedded the channel on the right side of this page where all the links to my Guides are located. Unfortunately, the layout of the page appears to cut off part of the window, so it is not as useful as I had hoped it would be. Nonetheless, it will display a list of all the videos I have made and visitors to my site will be able to see the topics, then go directly to YouTube for a better display of the actual video.

Here is the Channel where all my videos are located:

I want to thank all the Harvest Moon fans who have subscribed to my Videos on YouTube and all those who are 'Followers' of this website. I never imagined that my own efforts with respect to the world of Harvest Moon would extend to a website and video tutorials, but Harvest Moon continues to inspire my enthusiasm and respect. People who do not play video games tend to underestimate their value. For me, Harvest Moon is rather like a series of great novels and as a concept and world, I hope it will outlast by far the rather transient 'platforms' for which the individual games have been created. In fact, it has proven itself to be far more enduring as fans continue to respond enthusiastically to old Harvest Moon games that have been recreated for new platforms. May this trend continue...

Hello... I have a couple of questions :) (1) I equipped my hammer with a yellow wonderful which is supposed to help break the bigger bolders but it's not working. I'm charging the hammer, hammering it, and nothing happens. (2) What is the best way to practice cooking in order to execute a recipe? I've been cooking basic stuff for a long time now, and plenty of it, however, I just can't make some basic dishes like fried egg over rice, omelet, etc. Any suggestions/advice?

Also wanted to say I love your sight. I'm so happy I found you!

Suzana, thanks for your visit. The posts on the site are only part of what I do. Links to all my actual strategy guides for each game will be found on the right side of the page.

Are you playing Island of Happiness or Sunshine Islands? With one Yellow Wonderful, you may not be able to break the largest rocks. You need two if you wish to do that.

And yes, where cooking is concerned, practice, practice, practice... With more difficult recipes, it is a matter of percentages. Save BEFORE you cook the dish. If you fail, reload and try again, if it is something that uses rare or expensive ingredients.

Dear Freyashawk,
I am a big fan of your guides. I play Rune Factory 2 and I'm loving it! My first file was somehow corrupted, so I have to make a new one. I'm now on second generation and I have a few questions:
1. I planted plants in all of the fields located in Holy Statue, but why won't the statue dissapear?
2. I was too lazy to build a barn on the first generation, thinking I can build it on the second generation. That was obviously a BIG mistake- but can I somehow build a barn on the second generation? Or do I have to start all over again???

ShadowKnight, I believe all Crops must be ready to harvest before the barrier will dissolve. Runes are the key in this game and Runes only appear when Crops are mature.

As for the Barn, what happens when you speak to the Mayor?
