Circle Portals in Rune Factory Frontier

As I base my Walkthroughs and videos on my own games and experience, it was left to Robert to tell me that one of my statements was 'inaccurate', that a Circle Portal is created simply after you confront any Boss. That actually makes perfect sense, but since I never allowed myself to be defeated when I confronted any Boss, I simply wrote that the Circle Portal would be opened after your character defeated the Boss Monster.

I will have to start a new game to confirm this myself because I have defeated all the Bosses at least once in my current RFF game, but as Robert's comment actually is logical, I am going to accept it as true and revise my guides accordingly.

It is useful for players to know that the first confrontation, whether successful or unsuccessful, will create the Circle Portal. As my own character WAS successful, I never stopped to discover if the mere confrontation and not the defeat would be sufficient.

in my case i'll save my game before battle with the various bosses and most the time lose out to them but first confrontation, whether successful or unsuccessful, will create the Circle Portal.Cheers!

Freya, I know this is out of place, but how do I send you a story to post on We Love Harvest Moon? Do I e-mail you?

Iris, yes, please send your story by email, but if possible, don't attach it as a file. Simply send it in the text section of the email itself. It should have some reference to an actual Harvest Moon game, to actual characters and events... and I won't publish anything that would not be appropriate for readers of every age. I've seen some very graphic 'Harvest Moon' stuff on the internet, believe it or not... Personally, I rather like the idea that Harvest Moon and Rune Factory are appropriate for ALL ages.

Well, Sue, I guess I am too proud and too much of a perfectionist. I refused to confront any of the Bosses until I knew I could beat them! I should have known better really... especially when writing a guide for the game.

OK, and you're freyashawk@aol.com, right?

The address is given at the top of every guide I write.

Sue, did you experience the dialogue about the Constellation? If so, all the Constellations can be a little tricky. I often have not 'found' them on the first try. What I learned to do was to duck into the Lava Ruins quickly and then emerge again at the time when the Constellation was due to appear. This ALWAYS works for me, where simply riding up to the Conservatory often would not avail.

yes i did experience the dialogue about the Constellation with cinnomon and even read about it from the library but stiil having problems locating them. I will try the duck into the lava ruins method but do i wait inside the cave or just waiy outside the cave? They should make Constellation viewing easier!!! Cheers

What I do is duck inside the Lava Ruins (to load that screen), then move back outside. Usually as I am about to turn the corner into the Conservatory area, the Constellation will appear. I actually think that this may be a glitch that prevents the Constellation from loading sometimes once you are on the screen, which is why the Lava Ruins detour works.
