Island of Happiness and Tree of Tranquility Guides

My Island of Happiness Guides should be available online at IGN on the day that the game is released in the States, but I will not be able to write online guides for Tree of Tranquility as I accepted an assignment to write the Official Strategy Guide for Brady Games. That printed guide, the Tree of Tranquility Official Strategy Guide is available now for pre-order at a number of sites, including Amazon.

I have requested that Brady give both my name and 'Freyashawk' as the author of the guide, but that is up to them.

That's fantastic, Freyashawk! It's such an honor. I'm sure the ToT guide will be awesome. ^_^

I'll definitely buy that! ^-^

Your support touches me! It is a good game and I think the guide is comprehensive. I never realised how long my online guides were, though, until I wrote a guide for print and was told that my guide was twice as long as most of the guides they published.

I am so getting that! I totally love all of your guides and i can't wait to see your ToT game guide!!!

I can understand that--I printed out one of your recipe guides once and ended up with about 60 pages of text! My parents nearly had a conniption fit when they saw that we were running a bit low on ink, toner and paper. :-)

It's worth it, though! There's nothing in any guide you write that I don't end up using. I will definitely be buyng the ToT guide along with the actual game, and I will be watching for the IoH guides!!! Thanks!

So, just to clarify, you're writing the offical guide for ToT? As in, the one you buy in stores? If so, that is seriously sweet. I've been using your guides since I first got into Harvest Moon several years ago. You're really awesome, and I really appreciate all of the work you do. =)

Awesome! Looks like I'll be out hunting for the guide sooner or later... *grins* Great job on getting it published though.

Oh, and sorry for the late response, but I'll tell you once I have my child with Skye. It's taking a bit longer than I'd have liked it to be though - the sprites are hard to get, even though I've gotten Skye to quite a high heart level.

Thanks, Kalypsocry. There does appear to be a glitch that is preventing some players from having a child with Skye. I'm still totally involved with IoH and struggling to have comprehensive guides on ALL aspects of that game before the release date of IoH, which now is set for 26 August.

ToT has been further delayed to September. And yes, the guide I wrote for Brady will be the 'official guide', available in book shops and places like Amazon. Unlike my internet guides, however, it has been edited by other people. Certain passages and bits were cut out of it, but that could be positive, I suppose. My internet guides are very long and tend to be quite personal. The official guide will be a little less 'personal' and more Americanised actually but Natsume is an American company after all, not a British one. I can't force my spelling and vocabulary on every one.

I haven't had a problem with having a child with Skye...it hasn't been born yet but everthing seems normal so far...I hope this helps a little, and I'm really looking forward to buying ToT and your guide XD
